NALS of Pierce County is a chapter of NALS of Washington and NALS, INC...the association for legal professionals.

NALS of Pierce County is dedicated to enhancing the competencies and  contributions of members in the legal services profession. It accomplishes its mission and supports the public interest through: Continuing legal education and resource materials; Networking opportunities at the local, state, regional and national levels; Commitment to a Code of Ethics and professional standards; and Professional certification programs and designations.

Membership Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month from September through June. All meetings are open to members, as well as non-members. The evening commences with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by an educational speaker for approximately one hour. A short business meeting then follows. Dinner is optional, but reservations are required. Topics are announced in Legalities, our monthly publication. For information on meeting  topics, locations and reservations, you will want to contact our Programs and Reservations Chair.

NALS of Pierce County sponsors several educational seminars throughout the year.  If you are interested in attending any of our educational programs you will want to contact our Education Director.

NALS of Pierce County  will also be hosting a Certification Study Group. If you are interested in participating in these study groups and/or obtaining certification from NALS, you will want to contact our Certification Director for the study group information.  These study groups are open to members and non-members.

NALS of Pierce County is involved in many community service projects. We sponsor a Charity Benefit each year with the proceeds going to a local non-profit organization, with special needs at the holidays. We have participated in Paint Tacoma/Pierce Beautiful, and have organized clothing, food and book drives to benefit local charities.  We sponsor Bosses Night every year, honoring all members of the legal community.  For information on upcoming community service projects you will want to contact our Marketing Director.
