Opportunity to Volunteer!
My name is Lucas Heflin, Tournament Director of the University of Washington’s undergraduate mock trial program. We are a student run organization that travels the nation to compete in mock trial competitions against other colleges and universities. Our program is hosting a tournament, the Emerald City Open, on the weekend of for teams from across the country, including schools from Arizona, Ohio, and California. We've been fortunate enough to secure the University of Washington School of Law’s William H. Gates Hall for all of our rounds.
We are asking local judges and attorneys to volunteer to preside over the trials and evaluate the competitors, and I was hoping you might be willing to spare some of your time that weekend. There are spaces available for each of the following rounds:
Round 2 - Saturday, December 6th,
Round 3 - Sunday, December 7th,
Round 4 -
If you or your colleagues are interested in assisting us, please reply to this email with which times you might be interested in judging.
Anything you can do would be a tremendous help. If you would like any additional information please let me know.
Thank you very much for your time,
University of Washington Mock Trial
